Camia is a senior stylist who truly loves establishing connection with her clients. She’s driven by her artistry and thrives on honouring her clients’ essence beyond their outward appearance.
After studying Studio Arts, Camia began working for Michael Levine Salons in 2010. Her talent for service and creative vision quickly garnered attention, which brought her to the Vancouver Hair Academy. Post-graduation, she developed her strengths in styling and bridal hair at Blo Blow Dry Bar. In 2012, Christine LeBlanc offered her an apprenticeship and together they ventured to LIFE&COLOUR – where she evolved into a senior stylist.
Camia is sought after for event styling, colour melts, curls, men’s cuts, and major makeovers. She is continually educating herself in the field with local and online courses. In 2018, she traveled to Las Vegas to attend Kevin Murphy’s Future.Love global education event. Narcity listed Camia as one of Vancouver’s 30 Hairstylists You Need To Know About In 2018. She is attracted to emphasizing natural texture and shape; finding a look that best suits her client’s lifestyle.
In her words: “It’s a powerful feeling to be grateful everyday for your career.”
Outside the salon, Camia feeds her soul by practicing yoga, thrift shopping, cycling, listening to live music, traveling, and unwinding with a cocktail in dimly-lit bars.
